Regular Season Round 40: Sono SG - Anyang 75-73

The most exciting game of round 40 in the KBL took place in Daegu. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of much higher rankedAnyang (28-16) to seventh ranked Skygunners (22-23) 75-73 on Thursday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Nathan Knight (208-1997, college: William & Mary) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Filipino Kevin Quiambao (193-2001) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Five Skygunners players scored in double figures. American power forward Johnny OBryant III (207-1993, college: LSU, agency: Slash Sports) replied with 17 points and 6 rebounds and the former international point guard Jihoon Park (184-1995) added 7 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Anyang. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Skygunners have an impressive five-game winning streak. Sono SG maintains seventh position with 22-23 record. Anyang at the other side keeps the second place with 16 games lost.
